What the code unlocks

Bybit's welcome programme for new accounts caps out at $30,020. That headline number is real, but it is a ceiling made of several separate rewards, each with its own condition. Here is the whole set.

The sign-up bonus: $100. Awarded for completing registration and the starter tasks that Bybit shows in the rewards hub after you open the account. This is the part almost everybody who registers through a referral link actually receives, which is why Bybit itself says over 80% of users get $100 or more.

The first-deposit and first-trade bonuses: 10 USDT + 15 USDT. Deposit at least 100 USD within seven days of registering and 10 USDT lands in your rewards hub. Trade at least 500 USD in volume within thirty days and another 15 USDT follows. Small, but quick, and they arrive without any VIP status.

The mystery box: up to 1,000 USDT. Trade 10,000 USD in volume within thirty days and Bybit opens a mystery box for the account. The 1,000 figure is the top of the range, not the typical result.

The deposit bonus ladder: $50 to $30,000. Five tiers, and each one needs both a deposit and a trading volume:

• $50 for a $500 deposit and $100k in trading volume
• $100 for a $3k deposit and $250k in volume
• $800 for a $50k deposit and $1.5m in volume
• $8,800 for a $125k deposit and $50m in volume, with VIP 1 status attached
• $30,000 for a $250k deposit and $150m in volume, with VIP 4 status attached

The volumes are large because they are cumulative trading turnover, not account balance. A trader who moves a $3k account a few times a week reaches the second rung without noticing. The top two rungs are built for professional desks, which is exactly what the VIP labels mean.

How to apply the code

There are two ways, and only the first one is automatic.

Through our link, nothing needs typing. The button on this page carries the code, Bybit records it at registration, and the rewards hub shows the welcome tasks the moment the account exists. This is the path we recommend because there is no field to mistype.

Through the Bybit app or website directly, you enter MNTR in the referral code field on the sign-up form. The field is optional and easy to skip; if you skip it, the programme does not attach and it cannot be added later. Check the field before you press register.

Either way, the code applies once, at sign-up, to a brand-new account. An existing Bybit account cannot be moved under a referral code, and opening a second account under the same identity breaches Bybit's terms and gets both accounts frozen at verification.

What happens after you register

The order matters, because two of the bonuses have deadlines counted from the registration date.

Reach 500 USD in trading volume within thirty days for the 15 USDT trade bonus, and 10,000 USD for the mystery box, if that fits what you were going to do anyway. Do not trade just to hit a bonus threshold: the fee on the extra volume can easily cost more than the reward.

What the code cannot change

A referral code changes who Bybit pays a commission to. It does not change your fees, your withdrawal limits, your verification requirements, or the countries Bybit serves. Anyone telling you a code gives "lower fees" or "VIP fees from day one" is describing something that does not exist; the fee schedule is set by your account tier, and the fees guide shows the real numbers.

It also does not make Bybit available where it is not. Bybit does not serve residents of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, the European Economic Area, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and a number of sanctioned territories.
